Kali supported us through sleep consulting our 2.5-year-old son, who had been fed & patted to sleep, several night wakes & in the end co-slept with us… I had accepted this was just the way he was until Don’t Count Sheep was suggested to me. Kali was understanding that we wanted to do this gently & provided a routine specifically for us… the outcome was a happier boy sleeping 10-12 hours solid within days! We absolutely loved working with Kali!I reached out to Kali when we felt completely desperate and hopeless. Our 7 month old had a broken routine that clearly did not work for him. He would wake up multiple times through the night, have too many night feeds that were affecting his day feeds and naps. We also had too many chefs in the kitchen with the addition of our parents helping out some days, which meant we were not consistent with his routine and settling down style. Firstly, Kali listened and suggested a routine that would work for everyone. We still managed to stay in our comfort zone by eliminating all the "crying out" methods. Kali took all the factors into the account, and made sure the routine would be suitable for our son. She was guiding us through the first few days, and was really supportive for the rest of our time with her. Even after our scheduled time when we needed her advice on minor tweaks to adjust the routine to his age Kali always was available with a quick reply to help out! 2 weeks with Kali really proved the importance of having a good routine, we had a completely different baby by the end of our program. He would wake up happy, have his feeds during the day, and minimised nighttime wakes. I would strongly recommend Kali if you are looking for a knowledgeable but personable sleep consultant. I could not recommend a better person! Kali has honestly been a life saver in our home. My 7 month of was a huge co-sleeper, never wanted to leave my side and rarely slept past 30 minute stints or during the day at all. My LO now sleeps in his own cot, puts himself to sleep and sleeps through day naps and all night! I even had physical space and time have a glass of wine and have some deep sleep myself! Kali was a huge assistance in helping us establish positive sleep habits for our newborn son. It was our second baby and even though we had established a great sleep routine for our 2.5 year old, it was so incredibly helpful having Kali to discuss / workshop sleep issues for our newborn such as linking sleep cycles during the day. Kali is AMAZING! My 8-month-old was still in the bassinet in my room ( I was fearful of getting him out of my room for comfort purposes and so he doesn’t wake my 3 year old) and he was feeding 2/3 times a night (he didn’t need these bottles as it was effecting his day bottles) So kali helped transition him into his own room in his cot and drop all night feeds WINNING! My son was also an early riser 5am, with her support and guidance it’s helped us get him into a routine and drop these behaviours. Kali is an angel sent from above. She helped my 4 month baby get onto a schedule so that way I can predict my baby nap/bedtime without my baby being overtired. Once a baby is overtired it will take the LO forever to fall asleep! Kali set up a 24 hour plan for me. Before Kali, my boy would nap maximum 30-45 min and would wake up. I would barely have time to cook something or shower! Now he is able to soothe himself back to sleep if he wakes up from his nap. As for the night time now he is able to sleep from 6:30 pm to 7 am!!! Kali educated me so much which helped me understand my baby better. When I am stress because my baby is not napping And crying longer than usual Kali was always so quick to respond even though I’m in the U.S. and she is from Aussie. We have been lucky enough to work with Kali. Our 9-month-old son was great at falling asleep at night but was always waking early (4:30-5am everyday). Kali sent us a plan and lots of information to help support us. Within 2-3 days of following her advice and using a technique suited to our sons temperament, our son was going to bed at 6:30/7pm, sleeping through and waking up at 7am! We were thrilled! One week later now and we are in a solid routine and can't believe the difference this has made to our lives. We are sleeping more & our son is waking a lot happier. Sleep deprivation was the hardest part for me in becoming a new mum Kali was able to work specifically to my sons needs and targeted changes to make that would have an impact.The changes were seen almost immediately, and I had my happy baby back! The devil is in the details!! As a mum of 2 under 2 I thought I understood sleep, awake windows and settling techniques; but when my 5-month-old started waking every 7 mins throughout her day naps I couldn’t see the forest for the tress, I knew I needed help. Kali kindly tweaked/finessed our daytime routine so now my babies share a room, sleeps for at least 2 hours during the lunch nap and all night (Well to at least 6-6.30am ). Before working with Kali everything was unpredictable and I was often anxious about sleep and routines. Small 15 mins changes really do make a massive difference. If you feel in your gut that things could be better please, please, please do yourself a favour and get in contact with this amazing woman. You deserve it and so do your babies.
